Winter
The ski area of Les Houches extends from an altitude of 950m to 1900m. From the summit there is a spectacular 360° view of the Mont-Blanc massive. Skiing in Les Houches combines long descents through pine and larch forests within view of the spectacular peaks of the "Aiguilles de Chamonix".
It is the location of regular international events and serves as the training ground for the French National Ski Team. You will find a varied choice of pistes for downhill, cross-country, surf, telemark or ski-jumping. It’s all here!
In Servoz you can walk through the mountains on a snow-shoeing outing or discover the local heritage, visit the local hamlets or even stroll along the banks of the river Arve.

When necessary, artificial snow coverage is assured by 67 snow cannons covering 19 hectares.
The "Tourchet" piste offers nocturnal skiing every Thursday.
Cross-country skiing
Circuits are traced at an altitude of 1000m, others at 1800m, over 10km of pistes. The "‘Centre Nordique" at Les Houches is open for advice to cross-country skiers.
There are 4 winter trails in Servoz to discover on foot, on snow-shoes or on cross-country skis.
The groomed trails are sign posted and indicate the level of difficulty (green, blue and red). The map of these trails is available from the Tourist Office as well as information on equipment hire.
